About bookcases: Other names are Barrister or Lawyer's bookcases. They are made up of "stacks", each stack is put on top of another stack to make multiple stacks. Ex: 2-stack, 3-stack, 4-stack and so on. These bookcases always have a "top stack" and a "bottom stack" which can have the "waterfall" (curved) effect, or legs bases. Some top stacks may be plain and you may think it is part of the stack it sits on. Some top stacks may be rounded and may not have much height. In any case, they are beautiful to look at.
